Enjoy Chicken McNuggets...... not for long
Chicken Nuggets Are Made From This Pink Goop
This is mechanically separated chicken. Chickens are turned into this goop so we can create delicious chicken nuggets and juicy chicken patties. It's obscenely gross and borderline alien but it's not going to stop me from eating nuggets. They're too good. The process works a little something like this: There's more: because it's crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color. Yeah, that's just disgusting. But I can't shake my roots. I'm a chicken nugget fan (and all around fast food guy) for life. [Early Onset of the Night via BuzzFeed]

I stopped eating chicken nuggets as soon as I was old enough to realize that there was no sane way to make a chicken have that texture. Creeps me out to think about ever eating that shit.

That Jamie Oliver thing was hilarious. He's trying to teach some kids how bad they are for you, so he shows them how it's made by cutting all the meat off and leaving just the bones and grisle.
He grinds up the bones grisle and tiny bits of meat still attached, adds a little breading to form his nugget, he frys it up. The kids are all saying how gross that is. He asks if anyone would want to eat that and one kid is says yes because he's hungry right now. Then all the kids wanted nuggets. Also great was the class that he showed pictures of vegetables to and the kids had no fucking clue what they were. How does a whole class of 6-7 year olds not know what a tomato or a carrot looks like?

This picture without a source really doesn't mean much. As gross as McNuggets are, this could be anything.
I've seen it around for a while and reading the comments, it really makes more sense that companies would take the time to separate things rather than throw it all into one big grinder. Quote:

I have a fantasy about a nugget pinata. Where I break it open and nuggets go flying everywhere. Then a bunch of kinds and I scramble around grabbing nuggets off of everything and eat them. Anyways, if we watched how 90% of our food was made we probably wouldnt ever eat it again. Sometimes its best to be in the dark.
