Fan Activities during Oct-Don London

Well, I'm up for whatever! I work in London so can always make it (except during the day for the pub crawl). But I'm shit at organising and really only know the West End, so I'm not much help...

I will be there at the show can't promise anything else as staying with friends, but if you are out and we are out will obviously try to meet up on the Friday.

I really don't fancy Diggnation at all but if folks are about afterwards or before would be nice to meet up for a drink.

As I understand it ppl at the hostel are meeting up on Friday night having drinks, why don't we PM each other our mobiles so if there is a group of ppl on the lash we can keep in radio contact?

Problem solved...???

Also I am from Edinburgh so can't recommend anywhere either!

I'm not staying at the Generator but I'll be well up for a pub crawl on the Friday.

I've never been out drinking in London but if one of the locals wants to plot a route, my drunken map reading skills are usually pretty good.

Thursdays are a no no for me as that is the day I do my show.

I am not going to the Diggnation show or anything like that and to be honest, I was going to have a quiet one in the evening Friday night to save the pretty pennies for Saturday night. However, if people are about in the Soho area on Friday night, I could be pursuaded to have a quick after work drink.

I will however be happy to show up for dinner as I am going to the show. I was checking to see if there was anything going on on the Saturday afternoon but there doesn't really appear to be...

Ahhhh! I only just got the "oct-don". It didn't really make sense to me. You're right, "Lontober" would've been better!!

I posted a suggested pub crawl here...

I'm planning to go to Diggnation on the Friday, but will shoot off back into town straight after if people are meeting up.

In an attempt to get something moving on the Pub Crawl front I will Volunteer to be Leader/contact person for the KATG crawl.

Unless someone else has already Volunteered in which case feel free to ignore/ridicule me.

As a non-Londoner the route will follow the Route LondonAsh suggested. (Thank You LondonAsh)

I believe that if we start around 1900 and leave 45 mins drinking time in each Pub and about 5 mins Walking between each one then we only have to miss one off the list. Or we can spend 40 mins in each pub and get them all in.

Does anyone want to spend less time in each pub and get every Pub in?
Does anyone want to start earlier and spend more time in each Pub?
Does anyone want to start later miss out more Pubs?

Does anyone Think the current route is rubbish and want to suggest a better one?

The Current Route is...

The Princess Louise, High Holborn
The Old Crown, New Oxford Street
The Angel, St. Giles High Street
Two Brewers, Monmouth St
Lamb & Flag, Rose St
The Porterhouse Maiden Lane

Starting at 1900 with 40mins per Pub and 5mins walking between each one.

After that presumably we want to meet up with the Diggnation group somewhere.

If you are definitely up for it pm me so I can get an idea of how big/small a group we are going to be.
