Mahavishnu Orchestra
I like The Mahavishnu Orchestra(Birds of Fire, Vision of the Emerald Beyond), King Crimson(Red, Starless and Bible Black), Frank Zappa(One Size Fits All, Studio Tan), John Coltrain(A Love Supreme, John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman), to name a few. I know none of this is new music but it still holds up today. Most of this suff is ageless to me.
