Someone told me that JagJaguwar is the new Sub Pop of indie music labels. They do seem to have a lot of cool shit. Like Lia Ices here. She has a new album out but I haven't heard it yet so here is an older track that is swaying and stellar and saying to go swoon.

Saw this guy live and was blown away by his drum kit. It had a stack of old license plates on the hi-hat and the kick drum was one of those steel red gas cans you see on jeeps. The guy does it all: writes, sings, plays guitar, and drums, (unless he's touring) he had a drummer when I saw him.

"Woke up this morning and I'm still alive. I woke up this morning wondering why..."

This song gives me chills. Probably the greatest Rage Against the Machine song in existence, (that was not made under that band name).

Talking about Christ and Mohammed laying bodies down. An apt song considering all the bullshit with ISIS and America's inevitable return to the middle east.

This is off their latest, but their best album is Skuffed Up My Huffy. I just like this video.
