This is my first ever post on the forums, i have only been listening to katg for a few months, and i love it. Especially the shows with Lauren. Yes, indeed.

This thread seemed like a good a place as any to introduce myself - i am a 26 year old lesbian from Australia. Helllooo.

The first episode of KATG that I ever listened to had a lot of cussin. Faggot this faggot that. And it offended me. It was then I knew that I was a big faggo.

My coming out story is lame as hell. My family just denies everything. We don't talk about it. My job is to be a good Asian son and do well in life.

Did you ever listen to the Q cast connection? There was a lesbian from Australia named Rose that used to call in to that show and tell off color jokes. I called in and asked if anybody else ever wanted Rose to be their real mom. Apparently I was the only one.

Hmmm....This brings up an interesting question. What IS everyone's ethnic breakdown? It seems like we have a very high number of partial or non whites.

I'm Chinese, Puerto Rican, and Irish. Oddly I never claim being white in paper work usually just asian. I guess because my last name is Chan, I feel like that's the one that sticks out the most.

Like someone else said, I'm pretty much Whitey McHonkey. Seriously, McHonkey, I know part of my breakdown is Scottish, along with some Eastern Europian somethingorother.

Well I'm already mostly out (friends, no family) but I guess after dipping into law I would be better able to talk to my family about the issue without causing a complete meltdown. Hmm, maybe you have something there...

As for the fashion thing, I'm not really into it. Costs too much money and effort. But it is nice to dress up for special occasions. Oh, and I don't ride the bus anymore, so I don't have time to write like I used to. Sad, I know
