Thoughts on this week's Glee? I wasn't very impressed and I didn't like the musical numbers much. I was cringing when Rachel was talking about possibly being in love with the douche bag from the book store, even Rachel should be able to see what a tool he is. The episode also didn't have much for anyone except Will and Emma and Rachel and Finn. They really need to give more songs and screen time to the other characters.

I'm happy with the episode. I don't like they they've essentially hit the re-set button, and added Jon and Idina, but on the other hand, the manic pace is a convention of the show. If I rationalize it, I can say that the plot is every bit as crazy and fast as a traditional broadway comedy, so when I think of it that way, I like what the show is able to do, and that most of the cast are able to milk every line for the gold that it is.
On the other hand, I worry about how long the show can last relying on one liners, and speeding through plot with such a hyper-stylized cast and production. It's a lot like Ugly Betty. Eventually, they'll burn out, and have a major identity crisis. But, just for emphasis...I [b]loved[/i] Idina, Rachel, Sue, and Brittany this week. Brittany has some of the most hilarious lines next to Sue, and she delivers them so freakin' well. Her timing and slightly druggy delivery is awesome. And it's really nice to have a male focus character that can really sing. And not rap in a fake Justin Timberlake way. And the Vogue music video is perfection. |

Wow, I just stumbled on a few Glee publicity photos. The rest of the season should be interesting. I can't wait for this episode, it should be interesting to see him dance in 10 inch heels.

I loved this week's Glee. I think Sue's musical number was one of the best this whole season, and Mercedes and Kurt's cheerio number was also great. I was also glad we got another chance to hear Emma sing, although it's a shame she didn't get her own song or at least a solo.

My mom just informed me that she hates me for being gay. Yeah.
Also the madonna episode wasn't that great. I wasnt a fan of the dialog or song choices. The last episode with April was a riot. "I Think my cat is reading my diary." Last edited by RealEmotionX; 04-29-2010 at 12:10 AM. |
