Yeah, yeah, yeah. But death tends to be permanent. I just got home from a funeral. Might have something to do with my thinking.

So is this fellow comedian Jesse, if not someone who has been on the show before?

Something tells me Giraldo has more than one friend.

How does one accidentally overdose on prescription pills? Does one think, "Oh, a handful isn't enough. Tonight I go for two handfuls!"

"Ooops, that's too many..." Falls to the ground.
Depends on what the pills are but "prescription" usually mean painkillers/sleep aids or antidepressants.

One gets usuallyt a habit out of those. So tyo have any effect you increase the dosage, since the withdraweal is awful shit, until you do too much and end up in hospital.

Happened to me once and i didnt mean to overdose or kill myself. I looked for it but it was partly accidental. Although is a sign of addiction, that's true.

An "accidental overdose" can also mean two or more prescriptions mixed in the body and had a lethal effect, when separately they should have been fine. A patient who discloses all of the drugs he is taking, prescription or otherwise, will raise a red flag for a pharmacist who sees that new drug X will be dangerous when taken with drugs Y and Z. I doubt he's that forthcoming and on the record, hence the "accidental overdose."

I knew that. And we both doubt it.

Man, fuck that. Rest in peace, Greg. I know he has a few kids, my condolences go to them.
