I was gonna use the tip money I make tomorrow to buy vodka, but I think I will buy my first Greg Giraldo cd instead. I am surprised that he died before, say, Artie Lang and sad that he is outlived by Dane Cook.

The more I see of things like this, the more I realize the downsides of comedy?

You make people happy, but you yourself are so miserable it leads to your death...

Shame.. but no, this isn't all that surprising or shocking..
Harsh but absolutely true.

This is really horrible news. I met Greg when he and Jesse did a few days at The Improv in Houston. Of course, Greg was amazing on stage, and he was a real nice guy to talk to after the show.

When something like this happens, it leaves us with a lot of questions; like, is it too late for Keith to be upgraded as one of Jesse's groomsmen now?

I hope Jesse and Haley are doing OK, and my best to the Giraldo clan and his friends.

For the youngsters, Greg was a guest in 2005 on the 166th episode. I'm downloading it again right now.

Such a waste...
I didn't know that Dice had died

It never crossed my mind that he would actually die, after they said he was breathing on his own and everything. I thought he'd be on IV for a while and then do some great jokes about his near death experience. What's fucked up is I wanted to see him when he came to my town in August, but I decided I'd catch him next time, and went camping instead. I suck. Never got to see him live.

I pretty much have Greg to thank for finding KATG. In early 07 I just got my job and needed shit to listen to at work so I was looking through comedy tracks on limewire and came across 166: Greg Giraldo as an hour long file and thought shit yeah! After that episode I was hooked and have listened everyday since.

So, thanks Greg, you were definitely one of the funniest, most consistent people around. Rest in peace brotha.

they have internet still when you die right?

This is part of the reason why I jumped on my Stanhope tickets. I'm so sad with not be able to see my faves live. It's sucks to lose such a genius so soon.
