Help with Beats By Dre Tour,real or fake?

Recently I bought a pair of Monster Beats By Dre Tour headphones in my local AV shop.I knew there are fake earbuds in circulation,but I would not expect a authorized reseller to sell fake products. So I bought the buds. After a short inspection and some research on the internet, I'm starting to doubt if my earbuds are authentic. They don't sound great, the box print is faded, there is no serial number on the plug or a tour print on the cable. Also the Monster logo on the cable is warped, the cable is rather pale and the case that came with the earbuds is misshaped and has the zipper running sideways across the case.

Monster has pointed out that there should be a serial number on the plug and that there should be a print of the tour logo near the actual earpieces.

I have already contacted Monster by e-mail,but I still haven't heard from them.

What do you guys think,have I been scammed or could they be genuine?

Take them back to the store and demand a refund.
