I am officially booked at the Mayo Clinic in AZ! I will be going in January and major massive huge enormous thank yous and loves that are making this possible! This really has so much hope when I've really had nothing to hope for.

The trade is going well, but time is working against us. I trade options so, over time, our position decays in value (even if the stock moves UP).

As of right now, Rhian's profit is sitting at ~ $65. ROST closed above a key technical level today so it bodes well for the week ahead. I may elect to lock-in profits and close the trade by 4:00pm Friday even if my target prices are not reached. (Holding over this weekend represents 2 more days of value decay that, in my experience, is difficult to make up the week after.)

I'll keep you posted!

Obviously, if this becomes a losing trade, then Rhian won't owe me half of my losses .

I bought when Ross was at $88.40.

As with any trade, you set target sell prices in advance. For this trade, I will sell half at $92.74, and the other half at $95.85. If everything goes according to plan, I estimate the net profit from this trade to be between $700 and $950. That would result in a donation to Rhian of between $350 and $475.

It's been a volatile week in the stock market (what else is new?) and ROST has held up well. Today's action was particularly bullish for ROST, gapping higher, filling the gap, closing near its' highs for the day, on increased trading volume. The general market has also positioned itself well to explode higher next week (as early as Monday IMHO).

In light of the above, I decided to HOLD my ROST options position over the weekend and into next week. If we get the technical break-out that I'm expecting, this trade should work out nicely for Rhian... just in time for her to put a deposit down for The Mayo!

No donations in three days? We can do better than that.
