Updates, waiting on latest test results to come back, starting to list out the tests from my charts to send to the Mayo (they need it a month before) and I keep being told to sue over the specialist and the CPPd decision. I'm not sure about a suit but that might be the Canadian in me.

I'm still upset over all that crap.

Again, a thank you isn't enough but please know how much this means to me, it really is helping save a life.

A few days ago I made my first donation to the RhiArmy. Collectively, I raised over 80 USD through my album sales from my Noisetrade site, so I sent Rhi $43, half of everything I have made. Hopefully i'll be able to send even more in the coming weeks/months.

Rhian needs us, you guys. Help if you can, whatever you can, because it's going to change the life of the sweetest gal on these forums. Doooo it!

I would like to suggest another way to donate Mayo visits normally are a week at minimum, but can run 2-3 weeks. If any of you have unused transferable credit card miles/points for hotels, it might work. I have been to Mayo twice and the hotels can be a killer. It was just a thought to help Rhi out for those who might be strapped for cash at the moment.

Hi folks, let's keep this thread a live for Rhi, Thank you Rhian for the update. Maybe the ombudsman would be a place to start, get some advice from an impartial source ykwim?? The Canadian health care system has it's flaws and it is up to Canadians to point out those flaws so we collectively can force for change and improvement. It is worth it t fight for yourself not only to ensure the care you need but you may pave the way to helping other patients who may face similar tragic circumstances NOT have to go through what you are going through.

I for one will do what I can to help. I hope to donate again over Christmas.
