Going to a big party tonight, going to see if I can find this:
If anyone has any suggestions that has a similar taste to this, do tell. Local package store is warehouse size, but they still don't have everything. |

So I bought a 1pt 8oz bottle of Beck's tonight and put it on ice in the freezer to get it nice and cold and went to take a shower. I took kinda long and when I opened the beer, about half of it was slush. Have you ever had this? It's like a beer margarita (a beergarita, get it?), but without the gay. I don't think I'll make this a regular thing, as it's a little hard to drink, but it was a nice change. </cool story bro> |

Blue Moon is a good'n, already mentioned. These are all beers from where I live (including Blue Moon, which is traditionally to be drunk with orange), and I am partial to the localish type stuff. Fat Tire used to feel like a heavier beer to me, and was actually the heaviest I'd go. When I started with beer, I was more partial to things like Blue Moon or the wheat beers, like Sunshine. But the older I get, the more these taste like water and the more I lean toward the more hopsy beers, which I consider "heavier". I've still not tried guinness. The Cold Hops is supposed to be a British inspired beer, and is the hoppsiest and more full flavored of my common beer indulgences. Recommended! |

I'm more talking about natural freeze though. Since beer is more or less a homogeneous mix of water and alcohol (and other stuff) and alcohol doesn't freeze in normal freezers, you can expect a beer from the freezer to basically be slush: the water will freeze, but the alcohol won't and so you should get slush. |

Well, I did end up finding this and grabbed the last two bottles the store had. This shit is fucking good. None of that extremely hoppy bitter taste; it tastes exactly how it says on the bottle.
