Go to the BB Apps and get viigo, it's free, just add katg and you are set.

Blackberry APP

Hey guys have never posted to the forums before, been listening since around episode 200. I wanted to let all the blackberry users out there know that there is an official RIM podcast app. Check out the write up at BlackBerry Podcasts - Now available in BlackBerry App World | CrackBerry.com I have been waiting for a long time to see something like this available for the blackberry community.

It's going to hard to be better than Podtrapper. Best $10 I ever spent. I'm using the Android beta on my Samsung Vibrant now.

I bought podtrapper on someone's recommendation a while back and it sucked for me. It started DL'ing the entire KATG catalog (even though I selected only the most recent epi at the time to test it). Completely stalled my entire phone to the point that I had to do a hard reset. Thank non-god have an unlimted data plan.

Sorry to hear it went bad on you. One of the things I really like about it is the huge amount of configuration you can do with it. It is pretty easy to tell it to only download 1 ep at a time (even if there are 100's available). You can also tell it to only download over wifi or never download from the network while roaming. There have been a couple of times where something changed in the KATG feed and podtrapper thought all of the episodes were new again. But it only downloaded a few before stopping. I used the feature to "delete all episodes below here" and it was quickly cleaned up.

It's pretty smart about making downloads work. If you are on a slow network that keeps stalling out it will keep the pieces and stitch them together. If it is in the middle of a download from the network and you turn wifi on, it will switch over and keep downloading.

I hope you didn't buy it sight unseen. It has a 14 day trial which gives you plenty of time to figure out if you like it.

Hopefully the RIM podcast program will be good too. You can't have too many good podcast programs.
