Picked up an excellent push notification server written in php from the apple developer forums. It is under NDA, so I can't post it, but I've asked the author if he will GPL it when the NDA is lifted. Any developers interested lemme know and I'll hit you with a link.

I'm basing it on Apple always releasing a new version of their devices each year, so the iPhone is about due for a new version in the June timeframe. You call it what you want. I'm calling it the 3rd generation iPhone.
