Dear Mr. Russell,

Thank you for submitting Keith and The Girl 1.0 to the App Store. We've reviewed Keith and The Girl 1.0 and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store at this time because it contains objectionable content which is in violation of Section 3.3.12 from the iPhone SDK Agreement which states:

"Applications must not contain any obscene, pornographic, offensive or defamatory content or materials of any kind (text, graphics, images, photographs, etc.), or other content or materials that in Apple's reasonable judgement may be found objectionable by iPhone or iPod touch users."

Additionally, Keith and The Girl 1.0, cannot be posted to the App Store at this time because it does not adhere to the iPhone Human Interface Guidelines as outlined in iPhone SDK Agreement section 3.3.5.

When the device is not connected to a network, Keith and The Girl 1.0 does not load its contents and stays blank (see attached screen shots). This behavior might lead to user confusion. It would be appropriate to display either a notification or an alert stating that internet connectivity is required.

Please take a look at the Reachability iPhone program sample which demonstrates the use of the System Configuration Reachability API to detect the absence of WiFi and Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) services. Your application can then take appropriate action at the first point where network services are required.

Parental Controls have been announced for iPhone OS 3.0. It would be appropriate to resubmit your application for review once this feature is available.

Apple would rather shut down the whole store than make concessions to a small timer like me even with KATG backing me. I will be submitting a cleaned up version today or tommorow and then the dirty dirt version in july when parental controls are available.

So I think this is going to the official version I'll submit today or tommorow.

EDIT1:Ok, I'm feeling pretty comfortable with this build. Here's the adhoc http://katgapp.com/adhocKATG1.1.com.zip try it out and I'll be submitting this evening.

EDIT2: Preparing to turn in app and almost submitted it with screen shot that included the pat dixon show:Bitches Be Stoopid, DAMN. That probably would have been an issue.

Just reimplemented the audiostreamer with the 3.0 movieplayer instead of the hella archaic audiotoolbox. Holy crap that was easy.

The cleaned up version still looks pretty snazzy. This will finally let me listen live for at least the Friday night shows.

At least friday my ass. Now you're required to listen to every show or face shunning and disdain. The scarlet letter will be upon you.

EDIT: So after some tinkering and making sure it was as awesome as it seemed, MPMoviePlayer is the greaterest and will be replacing the current audiostreamer. This means that I will be posting bug fixes to the version submitted to the app store but the next major version will require iPhone 3.0 because I have accomplished in less than a quarter the code, a superior streamer that is much more readily repurposed to create the past shows tab, which I will be starting work on soon.
