KATG iPhone App Take 2

Hey there! impressive project you got going there!

I'm stuck a bit in my own project on a simple thing: the images for the UISlider. Can't seem to generate a proper leftslide and rightslide like yours. The funny thing is I can't even open yours in Photoshop or ACDSee. How did you create them, or how can I edit them?

They are just regular PNGs, if you're interested in looking at how I do anything in the app go to github.com and search for katgiphone (i think the link might be in the first post) and you can get a full copy of the source and support files.

Ok so I did a build in the 2.2.1 SDK so that should work for most people.

For some reason it's a lot more crashy, I'm fiddling with it but I'm not investing too much time because it runs like a champ in 3.0.

I'm dying to try this app and would like to beta test it, but I only use Linux. Is it installable on a jailbroken phone without using iTunes?

Probably, but I haven't tried it since I stopped jailbreaking so that I could test my development builds.

I just installed the 2.2.1 SDK version of 05-26-09-KATG.com and I am still seeing the same problem.

After 2 seconds, the screen goes blank. During the 2 seconds, the controls are non-responsive.

Is anyone else testing with a 1st gen touch? Am I the only one with this problem?

Really not sure, I'll have to find somebody with a first gen ipod touch to test this. I'm pretty sure there are other ipod touch testers, but I can't really tell from the UDIDs.

Just to clear things up a little, the controls are unresponsive because the app never actually finishes launching and the controls you see are just a screen cap of the app that gets displayed during loading.

Is it a stock ipod or jailbroken?
