I just installed the 2.2.1 SDK version of 05-26-09-KATG.com and I am still seeing the same problem.

After 2 seconds, the screen goes blank. During the 2 seconds, the controls are non-responsive.

Is anyone else testing with a 1st gen touch? Am I the only one with this problem?

Really not sure, I'll have to find somebody with a first gen ipod touch to test this. I'm pretty sure there are other ipod touch testers, but I can't really tell from the UDIDs.

Just to clear things up a little, the controls are unresponsive because the app never actually finishes launching and the controls you see are just a screen cap of the app that gets displayed during loading.

Is it a stock ipod or jailbroken?

This is totally useless because I have sent them numerous emails and never gotten a response so because that is a follow up number that doesn't match any earlier emails and he didn't include the original message.

I replied with copies of all my emails and followup numbers in hopes that he actually looks at something instead of firing off a form letter.

I'm having the same issue with the newest build on my 2nd Gen, non-jailbroken Touch.

I need to track down an ipod touch to test with. Not really sure what the deal is.


EDIT: Got an ipod touch en route for testing purposes, I'll try to test this on somebody's phone in the mean time, but my GF is convinced that if I test software on her phone it will explode.
