thanks for the advice. My wife figured it out as I headed out to bed. She actually went under the hardware tab of audio devices and clicked on usb audio device and got the thing to work. Stupid manual didn't say that. Thanks again.

Help with RSS feeds?

I've been working on reviving my college radio show as a podcast, but I really don't understand the RSS shit. All the tutorials I've found on the web are too jargon-y and don't help. I have webspace to host the mp3s, so that's not a problem, but I don't know how to great an RSS feed. Can someone point me towards a good RSS feed tutorial for podcasters? Or maybe explain it here or drop me an email at knifeinthetoaster at gmail dot com?

Tanks.

Since you're using gmail already have you thought of just getting a feedburner account and letting them create your feed for you?

Right, I need to put this up since it's been 6 months since the boys and I got together, and only half at that.

Team Drunk Ottawa - Epi 18 part one is out, as per my sig line.

Thanks for the advice; I'll look into these. In the meantime, though, I uploaded the first episode here for storage.

The Feed

My problem is this: I don't know how to create a feed. I've not found any place that will tell you how. The iTunes heding says "Creating Your Feed" but doesn't explain how. Please, someone explain to me, in the simplest possible terms, how I create the feed. Feedburner will do the rest.

If you look at my post above, you'll notice that I have hosting, so I've got unlimited bandwidth and uploading. I just need to create the feed so Feedburner can do the rest.

Tanks.

ok, quick question. how can I set up my mixer and still be able to use my speakers when I'm done recording w/o having to constantly change my settings under control panel? Is it even possible. I just find it frustrating to have to always repeat these steps and I'd like to avoid it if possible
