KATG NYC Weekend 2017

Thanks to a short notice scheduled business trip I will be able to make it to NYC KATG weekend after all this year.

This is my first KATG event, and it will also be my first time in Queens! I've been to New York dozens of times but never made it over that bridge. Although I recently had a dream Chemda was showing me around the neighborhood and it looked nice.

I can't make the dinner before, my grandparents are throwing an 80th birthday bash. If this was Keith's clean standup year I woulda brought the whole family, but the threat of Andrea's giant dicks making an appearance will keep them away.

2 weeks! Shit gotta get those taxes done...

This bar sells bar food like burgers and its only a few blocks away.


We will be walking over to the footlight from there at 7pm for Keiths show.

i just recently joined the forums but have been a long time listener...i'm not really sure how these forum things work but hopefully i'm not posting this in a very unusual place.
anyway, i already have a ticket for the show at footlight on april 15th and saw that people were gathering at onderdonk and sons beforehand...just wondering how friendly people will be at both shows...if i'm there alone will people approach me? (i'm a bit shy) or will i just sit in a corner on my own looking really awkward.

Folks are very friendly at KATG events... I can be shy in places where I don't know anyone, so I can relate...

KATG events are like family reunions. A bit quiet a first with hugs & hellos, then a drink or two, and your uncle is telling inappropriate stories and making everyone laugh/pee in their pants!

Shoot somebody a smile, even say that you are a little shy, you will be met with warmth & love.

Xerxes is always super nice, look out for him first, he will be a great ice breaker
