Cool KATG Studio pics and Chemda on my podcast!

Hey guys, I'm more of a forums lurker and regular listener than an avid poster, but I wanted to jump in and show you some cool stuff.

2017-11-13_145239.jpg

I've been listening since late 2005, so the 13th anniversary week seemed like a good time to post it all.

I had the pleasure of going to the KATG studio at the end of last year, to see how things are made and to talk to Chemda on my own podcast. I was just relistening to the episode and even I found some cool things about her, despite being there when we recorded it and despite listening for so many years, so maybe you guys will like it too.

Anyway, I'm not going to waste your time with preamble, though I would LOVE it if you'd listen to the podcast episode with Chemda and subscribe if you dig it. It's nowhere near as popular as Keith and the Girl but it's a passion project for me.

- The podcast episode is 'Chemda' of Fool's Paradise, which you can find on iTunes, Stitcher, Libsyn and my own site.
- My photos of the studio from episode 2756 Pill Head and episode 2757 Hope of the Hood (with Petey DeAbreu) are available here[/LIST]

So it took me a solid minute to figure out what GOAT stood for, but now that I do... Hey, thanks! I don't live in New York so I certainly can't keep up with those photographers who have been able to spend marathons and such in the studio, but hopefully Keith and Chemda agree with you for the next time I'm in New York. I'd love to return, but happy that I got to do it even once.

Shit yeah mate, you're a natural interviewer and that was a top notch chat with a massive-hearted podcasting legend. Plus your story of your mother lead to Chemda singing that little bit of Feeling Good, which obviously was heart-melting, so aces babillion PLUS for this episode.

I do the exact same thing as you with putting a podcast on at night by the way. It started when I lived in Brazil with no English speakers, so had to learn Portuguese, and at night the processor in my head just wouldn't quit - just kept rolling, translating English-Portuguese almost against my will. Turned out feeding English-speaking voices into it via podcast was what wound it down, so that got me wondering if it was the same for you with Italy.
