my opinion on art rarely has much to do with its marketability. your stuff is quite popular, stand behind it, i have no issues there.

as far as it being a problem, its the money end that may be, and i think its certainly a grey area that should be addressed, does anyone really know where the line is? the red bar radio guy was certainly spamming, and wasnt asking for money at all. i think everyone here would say you arent doing anything close to as bad as he did, but whats the difference? where do we draw the line, because i dont think its clear at all, and i dont want keith to pick where it is, because we might get screwed, i might get screwed.

Precedents WERE set in these forums. The people who have been on the show, who have contributed to the entertainment over many episodes, have been given the okay to promote their own projects. Some take advantage, like Brolo, and some don't, like Spooky. But if every fan came on here and started hawking their shit and accepting money, there's be no end to the spam and crap you'd have to wade through on these forums. I can see Latta began this as a fan offering, but there is definitely a line not to overstep, and there's nothing wrong with bringing that point up.

How is it any different Spooky? That's my question. Latta never solicited anything, never asked for money. Hell he did half of them just because people asked. People kept sending him pm's and asking how they could get one. Chemda and Keith don't seem to have a problem with it or they would have let us know by now. It's just you, once again, shitting on something you don't like. Frankly, it smacks of jealousy.

Bitching about a few small donations that people are actually excited about, while there's another thread on these very same forums soliciting donations for you, is highly hypocritical. If you're as smart as you (constantly) say you are, you should be able to see that.

i dont care about this particular case, or the package being sold. no, im not jealous, either, and you dont know me if that thought even crossed your mind. and im not shitting on his stuff, i didnt vocalize what i think about it at all. im not convinced youre reading what i write, please address the topic, and lay off personal attacks. again, you wont win going that route, ive fended them off for years and bat close to 1000.

I know he didn't have anything to do with the flood donation thread, I said that the first time I mentioned it. But it's hard to understand how someone can bitch about donations for one person, while accepting donations as well. I think that is the "topic at hand." It's the one that troubles me anyway.
