Build a Mac media center For those of you who just can't wait for Apple's new iTV to come along, web site Informit describes a few methods for turning your regular Mac into a Mac media center. The article makes a compelling argument for taking this route over waiting for an iTV, namely that it's more flexible, potentially cheaper, and available now. This is the first article in a 3 part series, so if you're interested in traveling the road to a media center Mac, you should check it out. If you're not into Macs, you might want to consider building your own Windows-based media center and DVR. Adam Pash |

I have a G4 mac mini i use as a meia server, I have an eye TV 250 hooked up to it and it connects to my television via DVI. the quality is ok but not perfect like coax or sattelite would be.
