Mad Men (new tv show)
 

from the creator of sopranos. the first episode was amazing. everyone should see it. the idea is this: an ad company in the 60s. why 60s?, just because you can be as racist, sexist and antisemitic as you want. everyone smokes and drinks. the first episodes features some reps from lucky strike coming to get a new ad campaign because the government refuses ads that say cigarettes are healthy.

i think keith would love this show, at least I would want to see what he thinks.

I've liked this show for a while and am in the process of watching the second season on DVD.

the fourth episode of the second season is just about as amazing as television (or any screenplay) can get.

Don Draper is my hero (and I hate myself a little, because his character is supposed to be the same age as me in this season)

The show is one of my faves. TV doesn't get better than this.
I love the look. The show is beautifully shot, the sets and costumes are top-notch as well.

In fact, I mold my life after Don Drapers with the smoking, drinking and cheating on his spouse.

The new season starts next month, right?

I recently found out about this show, and am working my way through the fist season. Soooo good. I'm in school for costume design right now, and I'm absolutely in love with the cloths on Mad Men.

It just looks like people standing around looking stylish to me. I'm male, so it doesn't take.

Catching up on the season before the finale, all i have to say is Don is getting sooooooooooo much pussy this season

I still haven't seen the first season! I started with 2 and am absolutley obsessed. I know the writers aren't goin to wear this show out...i'm afraid the last season will come too soon :(
