Most ISPs give you 3 notices. After the third one they will disconnect your service. Clicking on the link isn't admission of anything since you are either forced to do it or cancel the service.
ISPs don't care what you download as long as you pay them. They are not lawyers, and you aren't being sued. Be lucky they are giving you the notice, and not your name to the authorities. |

Roadrunner are bitches, aren't they? I used to work in a RR call center here a few years back, I couldn't believe the shitty connections some ppl got, although if you're on Charter, I pity you more. Used to work for them, too.
Really, the simple solutions are 1) stop using p2p, there's other ways to download or 2) move to Canada and turn off Uploads. It's not illegal to download yet here in Canada, just uploading copyrighted material. Although I'm sure NorthBush will change that eventually. |

My ISP is charter, I have had them for over 3-4 years. About 2 years ago I got a hole bunch of these DMCA notices, Over 10 of them, in about a 3-4 month span. Nothing ever happened. But I think Charter is very lax about DMCA notices. I still get them once in awhile. Nothing ever happens. But I guess I am just playing the odds right now.
