I installed the Wasabi a couple of years ago, it's been quite a pain in the ass.

You could try putting swapping the ports on the USB connectors. I'm guessing one is for data and it needs another for extra power. So maybe you plugged in the data one into the outermost plug and that's why it doesn't work.
If that makes it worse, then you probably had the data USB plugged into the correct port. It could be possible that the HDD isn't getting enough power from the Wii USB ports. You could try getting an external powered USB hub and hooking it up to the Wii. |

I hacked my Wii myself, using this website:
Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below - GBAtemp.net It's possible that when your USB loader we put on the wii, it was done incorrectly, or the wrong version was used. You could try this loader: WiiFlow USB Loader - Downloads Check the readme file when you download it for installation instructions. Also, is your Wii hooked up to the internet? If not, the hack/usbloader may experience issues. And I love you FFC! If you need me to drive to Canada, I will personally fix your Wii. |
