Movie suggestions

Hi folks
My man and I are at a loss for movies to watch that we can both enjoy...at the same time. He downloaded the Fast and the Furious for me this weekend...Someone HELP ME.

So, i'd love to know your suggestions for date night movies, we both love SciFi and we both love documentaries, I love thrillers and chick flicks and he's into action where a lot of shit blows up.
We are both willing to give anything a whirl so old movies, new movies whatever....

If you like documentaries, go on YouTube or TopDocumentaryFilms.com and look up "Louis Theroux". He's a host on the BBC and he does good work (assuming you can hook up your computer to your TV like Keith -or- you don't mind sitting in front of your computer and watching).

Maybe look up "Jackie Brown". It's easily Quentin Tarantino's most underrated and under appreciated film (and also the only one, with the exception of maybe Pulp Fiction, that I like). It's a heist movie with a bit of "thriller" / "action" in it. It also has a strong female main character so maybe that'll satisfy your "chick flick" need!

The last movie I watched with a date was Black Dynamite. I've seen it more than 5 times. It's a great date movie and it's on Netflix.

Kara no Kyoukai series. There's 7 movies in all. It's animation, but it's the best animation. It's really beautiful.

Guy Ritchie films ("Lock,Stock...", "Revolver", "Snatch"). You can even watch Revolver free on crackle.com .

"Paul" was also a good movie.

There are a good number of bad horror movies on both hulu.com and crackle.com which always make for good fun (try The Attic on hulu... it was gloriously awful).

Was going to suggest this. Moon is a weird one but makes a great date movie. The Sci-Fi isn't too heavy-handed. It's quirky and touching and a bit of a thriller.

You should watch Dear Zachary. It's a lighthearted docu-comedy about a dysfunctional family. In Canada!
