Movie trailer thread

Thought I'd start a thread to post and discuss new movie trailers. With a bit of luck we'll see some movies we may have missed but we could always just geek out over a new of frame batman footage too.

I'll embed for now, will too many youtube embeds make a thread go wonky?

First up is The Good, The Bad and The Weird. It's a Korean western by the director of A Bittersweet Life, A Tale of Two Sisters and The Quiet Family and has the best cast I've seen in a Korean film since The Host.

Trailer is 1:35 long, the extra time of no video is something to do with keeping the resolution up. There a lower res trailer with subs here.

Next is Iron Sky from the guys who did Star Wreck. Looks gorgeous.

Inhabited island is Russian scifi from the director of 9th Company/Legion with was the highest grossing film in Russia before Night Watch, I think.

Haven't the faintest idea what it's about but it seems to be taking design cues from Moebius/Heavy Metal and it's based on a novel by the same brothers who did Roadside Picnic which became STALKER so I'm interested.

Tokyo Gore Police is descriptively named.

Choke is finally actually being made into a movie, I can hardly believe it. I want a movie of Survivor and a cake dispenser.

Survivor would be pretty hard to adapt... it would be sweet ass if someone could pull it off.

That actually looks damn funny. Every time I think that, all the good jokes are in the trailer. I hope that isn't the case here. Finally? Is it a brilliant novel that should be read first?

Just great. My 18 month old computer is now officially another antique. Youtube gets an upgrade to streaming HD, and it chokes my PC. Fuck me, dual core, 2GB ram: not enough for full screen youtube

Flick looks good.

Does look cool, in a very dark way, and creepy. I'm kinda surprised it was made. Fodder for skinheads isn't really a good thing, hopefully it doesn't glorify nazis too much.

As much as I hate Vin Diesel, I'm still really looking forward to Babylon AD.
