Moving help

I have a friend moving to work at Columbia University and he's looking for a place to stay nearby. Anybody from NYC that knows of something in that area?

He would be in the Med Campus, a little north of the main campus, it seems.

Air BnB is also a good option if you don't have a lot of stuff. It is so much easier to find housing when you are already living in NYC and can visit apartments day of because everything moves so quickly.
