Houston's not so bad. I'm near there and there are some KATGers around. Look, you already have awesome friends!

What part of town are you going to be working in? OR what part of town are you interested in living in?

I live downtown and am mostly familiar with west side and north sides of town. I'm happy to help any way I can.

yo man I am in Houston also...so if you wanna hang out just give me a shout...

as for apartments, how much do you wanna spend? Houston can go from pricey to very very cheap...also what part of town will u be working in?

no need to waste money on a studio here...Houston is BIG and spread out so the apts are big themselves...you can probably get a great 1br in town at a nive place for 800-1000

stay outside of the 610 loop and you should have no problem finding something under 600...the closer you get to the loop the more expensive it gets...

when u say westside, do you mean down I-10? 59(Southwest)?

Well after doing a lot of considering the payrate they were offering wasnt enough so I called them to basically tell them that and they said they might be able to get me more money. If not I guess I wont be moving to Houston oh well it was a nice job but money wise it would have sucked

Sometimes...you have to get off of one ladder and start the next a few rungs lower, knowing that the new ladder has more rungs. Not a direct quote from my wife...but pretty much.

Sometimes, you have to shit, or get off the pot...take a chance!
