i second that emotion w/ the raconteurs. just got it and it kicks so much ass.

i also just bought an album by built to spill called "you in reverse." it's flaming lips meets pink floyd meets alternative 90's rock meets hippy jam band.

prince's new one, "3121", is his best one in a while. it seems like it takes a journey through some of his musical styles.

david gilmour's new solo album, "on an island" has some good floydian songs in it. as always, his guitar work is top notch. but i'd stay away from it unless you're a hardcore floyd fan or it's in the bargain bin.

It is pretty good I heard in on a bus one Sunday. The driver was playing it loud and singing it like he wrote it.

Otherwise I've been listening to Thom Yorke's album The Eraser and the new Nouvelle Vague the past two days.

I bought the new Godsmack, it's OK. Hasn't grown on me yet really.

Bought the new Hoobastank. They Suck so hard. Suck suck suck. If you suck this bad, be a religious band. That's your only choice if you want to make money.

Really, I've been listening to the Trance episodes of www.rraurl.net's podcast. Good stuff to install flooring to.

I'll buy the Thom York album next time I go to allofmp3.com, if they have it, which I know they will.

Same I got the Raconteurs. Don't buy the Zutons' new album if you plan to, they're not fun poppy and hooky now, they're just estremely average, I miss the old Zutons bad.

I bought Seu Jorge's Samba Esporte Fino. It's not new, but it's very good.

St Elsewhere by Gnarls Barkley I got. I've been meaning to pickup the Walkmen's new album. Secret Machines's Ten Silver Drops I got. Board of Canada's new EP, which I forgot the name of. I've been meaning to pickup the new Black Keys album, because it will rock hard and everyone who likes good rock and roll should buy it.
