Seems like NK is a spot to keep the whole US/China thing simmering.

Are we moving towards a war between the two? Are there any other players?

Why hasn't China been pulled into the whole 'Islamofascist' thing? Even Russia has Chechnya, at least.

Our ground forces are stretched. Our Airforce and Navy are not stretched at all. Ive known a couple people in the Navy who have been saying that theyve been shrinking it for years because its just not being used. Were not going to attack NK anyway though because big risk big reward are not the style of the Obama administration. We will either do nothing or worse, try to magically convince China to do whats best in our interests instead of thiers.

My question is: When the magical convincing doesnt work, 43 innocent SKs have still been murdered in cold blood without remorse or redemption and our power and way of life having been openly mocked, then what will we do?

Answer: Pretend it never happened and that next time negotiating will work.
