NYC Comedy venues to see KATG guests
 

I'm planning a trip to NYC for next year. I'm hoping to catch a few shows to see some KATG guests in action. I'll of course be checking the individual websites of the people I'd really like to see, but I'll be booking my flight/hotel long before they may have their Summer/Fall schedules up.

In the interest of helping me plan where I get my hotel and plan transportation options, I'd like to get the names of some of the venues where KATG folks perform.

Bowery Poetry Club and Creek & the Cave are mentioned frequently. What other venues should I add to my list?

The Bowery Poetry Club in Manhattan and The Creek and The Cave in Queens are the two most obvious answers, but there's also the People's Improv Theater in Manhattan, the nameless bar at 116 MacDougal Street in Manhattan, and One and One in Manhattan. And plenty of other places.

You've got to get to the comedy cellar. Jesse Joyce plays there. In my opinion it's probably the best place in the world to see comedy.

Great line up but I find this place very expensive.



I saw Christian do a cool gig at The Pit. I can't remember the show though. Joe De Rosa was on the line up too.

What happened? I remember him from some of the really old shows but can't remember a falling out.
