yeah I'm pretty fucking Liberal and I have to agree this is some rockstar image BS, no treaties, we are still in 2 wars WTF!!

recognized Obama's efforts to solve complex global problems, including working toward a world free of nuclear weapons.

Nobel prizes have been ridulous for years. they lost meaning and are totally biased.

Plus Obama gets the prize for what?

He's doing his job, and not even that well. A big fluke, that's what his whole act is.

I thought the thread title was a joke.

It should be called the effort prize, if it continues like this.

Next year the physics prize will go to a scientist with an untested hypothesis.

I like a lot of what Obama has done and tried to do, but it's hard to believe that there isn't some person out there who accomplished much more and feels slighted by this.

What did they gie as his reason for winning, from what I know of american politics he seems to have actually done very little apart from have written some books and be a black president.
