I liked that Obama specifically mentioned that he's the political leader of all U.S. Christians, Muslims, Jews and non-religious people. The U.S.A. is not a Christian nation and this needs to be pounded in to people's heads.

Good inauguration. I noticed somethings (warning slight spoilers):

#1. Aretha Franklin's hat. WTF? That was worse than Beyonce's jacket on sunday.

#2. Michelle's dress would've been good without the matching jacket, or if she wore the yellow jacket with a different dress. The two together was blah.

#3. The woman poet after Obama's speech didn't know how to deliver her poem. I wouldn't want her as my professor.

#4. The chief justice messed up with Biden too.

#5. Joe Biden's middle name is Robinette. Family name maybe?

#6. Though I'm glad he's gone, President Bush has been very gracious and classy these last few weeks.

#7. I think Mrs. Biden will be fun. I liked her boots.

#8. I watched on MSNBC so I don't know how the other channels covered it, but whenever Obama mentioned Iraq they showed like 10 soldiers watching the inauguration. I'm assuming its night time there but I was expecting a huge crowd of soldiers, I seem to remember that with Bush. Maybe its because the military is way more right overall, I dunno. Just thought it was interesting.

#9. The older Obama girl (Malia?) was cute taking pictures.

#10. I thought it was kinda weird/demeaning that Obama mentioned Bush right away thanking him for his service, etc. instead of waiting a little bit.

#11. The crowd is awesome! I like all the merchandise and how everyone was "skating" on the reflecting pool.

Yay new president! Hope he doesn't fuck up.
