Although I won't be able to post the results for a while, if at all, I've been inspired to head out with my Diana (Diana camera - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) that I got from my girlfriend for Xmas and take some pictures of the lovely spring(ish) day we're having here in London. Never really used before, and I haven't used a manual camera (rolling the film on! Shutter release button! LENS CAP!) in about 6 years, but I'm looking forward to the results. Hopefully they won't all look too indie.
This thread is awsome.

Went with my family to the shooting range and it was my first time going. There were 12 of us with about 10 guns total and we were there for a couple of hours. I'm glad I got the two with muzzle flash out of about 400 shots.

I tried to rapid fire and it made it worse because I use an XTI with slow burst speed. So I tried to anticipate their shots and knew if I saw the flash in the viewfinder I had missed it. The revolvers were the best thing because I could anticipate better when I would see the hammer pull back right before the shot. Yet 2 out of 400 I would consider luck, it was like trying to take a picture using a flash from someone's camera taking a picture. |
