Thanks guys. I ended up listing them for $75. No one bought them, but they got a lot of attention and a bunch of people took my cards. I may have gotten a job out of it in a couple weeks too.

I'm horrible with charging for anything or estimating prices.

I've purchased a canon 40d my first dslr. Just need to get a lens for it, I have one lined up from a colleague. Hopefully I'll have some results soon to post here instead of my usual point and shoots.

Welcome to the club! You'll soon be obsessively adding lenses to your wish list

Awesome! This is my camera too so if there are any questions I might be able to help out.

Going to the WA museum today to see my photo in the 2010 Kiss My Camera exhibition today!

Taken with Canon 40D and Tamron 70-200. No post-image editing.

My kids in Hue, Central Vietnam.

Taken at a temple, also in Hue. The Lotus is the national flower.

I'm sure I will need it in the weeks to come, thank you. Especially as I'm doing the photomarathon again this year. I wasn't going to do it again because it was done on 35 mm film last year but this year they announced they are going digital.

Link photomarathon

As for adding lenses to my list, I'm gonna take my time to get used to the camera before I start looking into those, i'm getting a 2nd hand kit lens (17-85mm I think) from a doctor i work with on Monday as a starting point.

I'm itching to get started, the weather here is lovely at the moment and I feel like I'm missing out a bit on potential outdoorsy stuff.
