I saw Life in your other photos i went along the same theme. Not expecting such a Morbid(too harsh of a word) photo.

I was looking for a different Idea and i thought more depth was needed, but in sleep\death, there is no need, you are correct.

Not the camera but the software. You cropped it and modified the saturation, try the 'unmask' or 'Sharpen' settings in the same software.

nope, i didnt crop it. i upped the saturation a tiny bit, and tweaked the color. thats it.
