poll: cutting nails in public/work gross?

a few months ago i was shootin the shit with my girl friend in the kitchen and i just started cutting my nails...APPARENTLY thats gross too...like there was no food out...just me and her...she got really grossed out and said if our roomate cut me doing that shed never wanna eat in the kitchen again...i was like wtf? however i do reserve that for bathrooms only now...am i whipped?

Toe nails, yeah thats kind of gross. but I see no problem with finger nails. I work in a dirty job where you constantly get shit under your finger nails. I have seen people cleaning and clipping and have done so myself. My only request is do it over the garbage. And I am not voting because I feel there is not an option that is a true representation of my thoughts on the matter.

Omg, it's so disgusting! Once when I was in Biology class, a big college lecture of 300 plus people, some guy started clipping his nails. Everyone could hear him and the girl sitting next to him moved.

Another time I was at my sister's soccer game and a man in the stands took off his shoes and socks and started clipping away. And then he just left his clippings there.

It's disgusting. Do it on your own time in your own house or pay an asian to cut them for you.

I agree. Hide the nasty toes, but fingernails, so long as you are over a garbage, no prob.

the other reason i brought it up is because my almost senile dad started clipping his fingernails at the thanksgiving party... he was in the garage and not the dinner table, but still...
