Now, even though I'm with you on this phase Klepto, I definitely agree with the concensus. We're just going to have to man up. I know I for one can't keep acting like a scared bitch everytime I want to talk to a cute guy. Otherwise I'll be alone, and then that means having a hag to wallow with in self pity that turns into a horrible co-dependent relationship where you feed off of each other's misery. No one wants that.

I definately feel for ya, Klepto--in sort-of the same situation (bi, haven't had any experience with either gender), and I have the same problem in that I'm shit at getting a date and I fear I've worked it up too much too.

Me too. I totally used to try to force friendships, or I just wouldn't even start anything because I didn't know how to find a middle ground. Personally, I have to find as much happiness and security in being alone as I would in being with a person I was able to have fun with. Otherwise, I'm only hanging out with people so I wont have to hang out with myself, thus forcing them to endure the very fate I'm trying to avoid.
