Rev Jen in the Times

Just saw this online, thought people might be interested.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/18/n...gtype=Homepage

I'm sorry to hear that she's been evicted out of the Lower East Side, I know that part of the city's changed so much in the past couple decades but still sad. Glad to see her trolls are still in action though.

Quote:
“I lost the troll museum,” she said. “But the troll museum is a state of mind. And I’ll still always be there.”
Sending her much love (through the forums), would love to hear her on the show again.
Keith, The Girl, Bucho and 1 others like this.

I love that even MORE THAN HALF A DECADE since she was last on the show, when I read her quotes in that article I hear her voice clear as day in my head.

Edit: A couple of the notes from her last appearance, KATG 1816: Carlos Danger, July 23, 2013

Two Faced: Jen was fired from her job in the Lower East Side's Tenement Museum for 'insubordination' after she accidentally smashed her face open in the street
FIfty Shades Of Jen: Jen's new book talks about her drinking her own urine and says it tasted like tears; Keith drank his own urine and heartily disagrees

Another edit: Also, this!

And almost 4 years for Faceboy as well, it really doesn't feel like that long ago. I always loved both of them on the podcast because they're just so.. weird, in a good way. Hopefully they'll be back on the show one day.

I miss her so much. Her book Elf Girl is one of the books in my library that stands up to continuous reads. It's basically an anti-depressant in book form.
