Clearly we need cake-pie unity if we are to make progress together. Maybe a pie filled with German chocolate cake or even a cake covered in cherry pie filling with those damn good brown sugar crumble things all over it.

I'm slightly behind all the controversy but i'm guessing Obama's lipstick comment has been forgotten now they're gunning for Biden and his "Sarah Palin is setting women back" statement.

That and the fact that the Charlie Gibson interview was so heavily edited ... I'm hearing a lot of people talk about how he just threw his journalistic cred right down the drain.

There is no doubt that Palin is both religious and right wing, but (a lot like Ron Paul) she's also saying that the government has no business messing with these matters.

I believe what she said was that she was all for government regulation in our economy so long as government left our economy alone.
