I'm surprised this video of Sarah being blessed by a with hunter hasn't been put up here yet. You can see him blessing away the witches and demons preventing her winning the govenorship around 6-7 mins in if you want to skip all the pulpit bs.

I was listening to NPR yesterday and they noted that the next president could potentially appoint up to 3 high court justices and if McCain is elected, the court will swing to the right.
There were several dire and difficult to comprehend prognostications, of course, the right to privacy would be under threat and the ability to make end of life decisions for yourself is at risk but also Habeous Corpus may be a thing of the past. That's the 800 year old fundamental priciple that underlyies all civil rights. The thing that occured to me is that we may end up not teaching neo-Darwinism in school and maybe not even in University. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion on how the universe works and people can believe what they please but neo-Darwinism forms a fundamental part of a lot of biological research, particularly infectious disease research. Things like vaccine and antibiotic research use computer models based on neo-Darwinian postulates. If publicly funded schools and universities can't teach it, the textbook market for it will dry up, making it difficult to teach or learn at all, and it'll eventually become difficult to find young scientist with the requisite backgound to do infectious disease research. I think that a lot of people involved in this debate aren't aware of what will happen if we, as a nation somehow legally or culturally decide that evolution cannot be predicted by stochastic mathmatics. |

It's pretty clear what their views are, and if you elect him, you are effectively electing her for president. The old guy has cancer for gods sake, actuary tables or no actuary tables, he is ulikely to survive the full term. If Bristol Palin had been raped I have no doubt from Sarah's views that she would have made her daughter keep the child, and to think she will not extend her views to the rest of the the country if she becomes president seems really naive.
