I don't have an invite, but it would be a shame to let this thread die so ignominiously.

You would until you worked there.

I did. For EIGHT years.

For eight years, I knew what time it was every fifteen minutes because that stupid clock would open up.

Fuck that ride!

Well, eight years IS a long time, however I'd like to think I could spend eight years in a Mary Blair painting.

Do you plan on tripping while on the ride? I don't know myself, but people who have done mushrooms, for example, seem to LOVE that ride a bit more than the average person.

My very first job ever was at FAO Schwarz, you know, the giant toy store from the movie "BIG"?

It has all these animated things that talked and sang and it was like working in a goddamn Chuck E. Cheese with those creepy singing bears and shit. It would just loop over and over and OVER again for 8 goddamn hours and the worst part about it was that every 45 seconds a customer would say, "it must be so fun to work here! you have the best job ever! you just play with toys all day long."

RARRRRR.

People would say that to me at Disneyland all the time too. Do people really think we just play all day? Getting 12,000 riders an hour through that damn ride wasn't fun and games, especially when people bitched about wanting to sit in the front (like it matters on it's a small world), or when they'd start splashing each other on the ride. People thinking we just play all day is like people thinking Keith and Chemda only work an hour a day.
