All that stuff is real hard, considering we don't really know the qualities of the people who will take over the government; all we know is that they are being violently repressed. I mean, in Libya there's accusations of straight up executions by the rebels. Egypt ain't exactly real strong. Osama bin Laden had previously been part of a US supported opposition to the Soviets.

But on the other hand it's hard to see a country's people liking us less for supporting a popular struggle.

If it were up to me, I'd probably do something like that, but I think the current administration should stay the fuck away from it. It's just going to turn into another place to pour military-funding into indefinitely because we love to establish bases in countries and never leave.

AH! Isn't it nice having someone in your life who enhances it rather than sucking it away? I'm happy for you, friend! I've been with my amazing dude for about a year and a half now, and it's been the best relationship I've been in ever.

I went to Maryland Deathfest in May, and talk about hitting the wallet hard. Christ on a crutch. I had a great time, but I haven’t been able to do much of anything since (other than derby travels, which doesn’t really count).

She's pretty much exactly who I want. She's older than me, great legs, agnostic, plays for real video games, and actually likes it when I say what I really want to say about things. Sometimes in my head I'm amazed I can be myself around her. I'm so used to that being my personality being my biggest problem.

The only thing that is kind of ominous is she really wants a family and I'm 23. And not interested, anyway. That part is less than ideal.

Eeeeeeee. Hopefully that family thing doesn't become a big issue for you. I got pretty lucky in my situation, as we have an abortion pact. Ha!
