That was a week ago today. There's still a tiny bump and that whole area is yellow

Izzy, I have a question.
When Sookie drank Bill's blood in episode 2, she drank a lot. But when Jason drank the vial of vamp blood, why did he react so violently? Sookie had to have had at least 5x that vial and even Bill said that she drank alot of blood.
