I'm cleaning my room and then packing. Family holiday to tiny town on the Murray (for not Aussie's it's a river that seperates two states). Going to be there on NYE. We go with family friends but the closest person to my age is 14 and there are more people around her age there.

I'm 17. It's ok though coz I can get practice driving (have to be 18 and have 120 hours of logged practice to get licence here). Also parents get drunk and tell stories. Last year I found out Mum met Dad coz she went hitch hiking.

18 really? i'd heard of earlier driving ages in other countries but not older. thats new to me. well im sure its much more safe than having a whole buncha 16 year olds driving everywhere. not gonna lie, i should not have been driving at 16. im good now though, been driving for a year and a half. wow. thats a great "how we met" story!
