what the fuck? I seldom have the time to watch tv or listen to
anything not KATG related. I turned on SNL last night and the
musical guest was the Ting Tings. So I think dude with drums, chick
on guitar and a White Stripes vibe i am totally in. The dude seemed
to be doing his part, but the girl played the exact same note the entire song
never actually moving a finger. Why is this horse shit on my television? So
I ask again What the Fuck?

well decided to listen to the album and make a better informed opinion. Total suck. There are parts of it that you start to think it might be turning around and then BAM right back to the suck.

Don't be hatin'. The Ting Tings are great! Yes it's an uber-pop sound, which you do not seem to like regardless of who the band in question is. But I don't care to try and change your mind.

What I find interesting is that you compare them to The White Stripes. I don't see any similarities beyond the fact that they're a 2 piece and the fact that the girls in both bands don't have much skill with the instrumentation.

Anyway, I don't write to criticize, I write to recommend other 2 piece bands:

Death From Above 1979
The Gay Blades
The Black Keys
Fiery Furnaces
The Dresden Dolls
The Kills (fuck yes)

I just said that the start of their SNL performance gave me a White Stripes vibe. I don't hate them I just said they suck, big difference. Hell if they can confuse a million people into thinking they don't suck more power to them. I wish I had that kind of voodoo power.
