its been on the radio, and the news all day... the city is shrouded in smoke... its not fun

15 minutes east of CBD has no smoke. It's weird

fucking arsonists! but 2 units have been taken from the big fire in kilmore east.. but that might have been because they needed them elsewhere.. the fire isnt controlled yet

Haven't heard nothing about them yet but I'm pretty sure they are fine. Death toll is now at 108 and is expected to rise to 170 by the end of the day. Its a sad day for all and my best goes out to everyone there.

Statewide Current Incident Summary - Country Fire Authority

the worst fire in kilmore east is out... yesterday and the day before it had over 100 units on it. theres still a few large ones, but i dont think theyre at the same capacity as before. i spose the cool weather is helping

it will be about a week before all the fires are out

Edit: kilmore east isnt out, but has 49 units rather 115... which i see as an improvement

I just heard from friends in Watirna, they are about 15 klms away from the fires.

They aren't evacuating.

Stay on it, and leave god damn it if you have to.
