Viva Patshiva
Dear KATG fans if you weren’t sure if you wanted to see Chemda’s Play, if you thought it wouldn’t be your kind of thing, I’m here to tell you now, your wrong. Go see Viva Patshiva. I went on opening night (and anyone who knows anything about plays knows that on the first night something always goes wrong) well if it did I didn’t notice. Everyone was simple amazing. If you just bought the CD it does no justice like hearing it live. The play was funny and exciting with a little bit of sad. You don’t even have to like plays to enjoy this. They pull there audience in. And if nothing I said has convinced you to go then go for the free beer and “wine”.

I wholeheartedly agree with every glowing review given to Viva Patshiva. It was a blast! Chemda was especially wonderful - her solo song without instrumentation was intoxicating! Best yet, 2/3's through the performance it was apparant that Mommmm was in the crowd! Chemda brought her out to dance during a song, and if that wasn't a big enough give away, shouted "That's my Mom!" at the end. I must say, she looked much younger than I always pictured her based on the stories. She seemed to love the whole thing - even the dancing lesson after the show. And Lauren seemed to take a liking to her too. Then again, I saw Lauren hitting on all the girls after the show - she even talked my girlfriend into massaging her upper shoulder/chest area 3 minutes after meeting her.
Anyways, GREAT SHOW! Don't be an idiot and miss it! Viva Patshiva!! |
