Now I'm hearing the Frank Darabont is dropping out. That doesn't always mean a show is going to tank, but it usually means the show's vision changes as new people take the helm. So I'm a little worried.

Wait. Like, Frank Darabont Frank Darabont? Why in the world is this the first I'm hearing about Frank Darabont being involved with this show?
Every other time people have tried to pitch that show to me all they said was "Blah zombies comic books generic stupid shit". All someone should have said to me is, "Frank Darabont's The Walking Dead" and I would have been watching this since episode one. |

Heh, yeah. I was there because I love post-apocalyptic stories and zombie stories. No clue why; I just always have. I'd never heard of this comic book because I don't really read them, but seeing that Frank Darabont was developing the series was just icing for me. But yeah, news is that the television format was just too difficult for him to maintain versus dealing with movie production, and he's out. It worries me. A lot of shows lose their direction when the developer walks out, and that can mean cancellation or just a bad show as a result.
